Heather and Maple Pass

October 2020

We managed to do 1 hike during 2020 – Heather – Maple Pass Loop. Our goal was to see golden larches, and avoid people. Luckily, we managed both. The entire week, there were 700+ cars at the trailhead. When we arrived on a cloudy Thursday, there were only 20 cars with plenty of space.

We had an amazing time. Saw golden larches, and a black bear snacking on berries. We’ll be back next year!
